What we've done already.
It is essential for SU4E to promote and encourage initiatives that are part of a sustainable development process. The elephants rescued by the organization need 150kg of food each per day so sourcing food is important. SU4E has established numerous partnerships with farmers in the community to provide enough fresh organic food for the elephants.
Since the creation of SU4E Home, small producers using responsible and organic agriculture have been our primary sources.
Actions for 2024.
In 2024, actions in favor of eco-agriculture will expand. SU4E wants to motivate even more partners to adopt more responsible way of producing. Providing food for captive elephants allows local producers to have a reliably fixed income and security for the future.
