Stand Up 4 Elephants is an NGO working in Chitwan, NEPAL for the welfare of captive elephants, their mahouts and the community in which we all live.
Emergency elephant rescue - SU4E HOME
The SU4E Home welcomes elephants rescued from the tourist riding industry, along with their mahouts. Acting as a model to raise the basic living standards of humans and elephants.
SU4E works directly with the community in a number of ways, by partnering with local organic farmers and young Nepali entrepreneurs, promoting progressive ideas like empowerment of women and visiting schools to educate the next generation about elephants.
